about

Taken from a session recorded by Geoff Streadwick at 40 oz. Sound, September 1996. The session resulted in eleven songs intended for release on an LP, but the band broke up a few months later and the songs all remained unreleased.

lyrics

Big W I S H
Underneath my pillowcase teeth, yeah
I don't sleep
Because I've already seen what I'm going to dream
Thank you very goddamn much
Thanks a lot
You falter, I gave you too much credit again
You alter the characteristics of your voice
You're a gentleman like tuberculosis
Tuberculosis, tuberculosis
I know that dreams burn around the edges and fall apart
Things change in a manner apart
But I will take these fucking ashes
And balled-up, burnt out matches
And make a song and sing it.
